Career

After having completed the general certificate of higher education in Germany, Ms. Kluin trained as a wholesale and export specialist with an international trading company in Düsseldorf.

Ms. Kluin studied economics at the University of Essen following the successful completed her professional training, where she majored in finance, marketing and econometrics. During her university studies, Ms. Kluin also worked at a patent law firm where she completed various training courses relating to intellectual property rights and on the valuation thereof. Ms. Kluin ultimately authored a dissertation titled “Legal Protection of Trademarks and Private Brands – Store Brands”.

After completing her studies, Ms. Kluin worked at various patent law firms and played a fundamental role in establishing Dr. Kluin’s law firm, now KLUIN Patent.

Ms. Kluin was born in 1970, is married, and has one child. Ms. Kluin is fluent in both German and English and has a basic knowledge of both French and Italian.
